My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hickory, much like the tree, is trying to plant his roots in a new forever home! This guy is a big ole puppy who is always on the lookout for new activities and new friends. With a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger smile, this wonderful doggo has definitely left his mark on the staff here at SHS in the short time he has been here. Since coming to SHS staff has found that he would do best in a home with older kiddos (13 and up) as he could definitely use a good training course to curve some inappropriate behaviors.

He was originally found as a stray, dumped by someone in our play yards and has found himself becoming more anxious as time goes by. He desperately needs a second chance at forever, preferably with other doggie friends to keep him company... if you have the room in your heart and your home for this nearly 80 lb. boy then please feel free to visit him at our shelter location!
