Hello, folks! Name's Benji, your friendly neighborhood canine. Now, I didn't always live in this cozy shelter. You see, one day I was on a quest to find the world's tastiest bone. I followed a delicious scent right into a 'No Dogs Allowed' park. Oops! The next thing I knew, I was in the back of a van, being driven to this shelter. But hey, every dog has his day, right? I've got a lot to offer: I'm smart, brave, and independent. I'm also curious, so prepare for fun-filled adventures! I'm sweet, loyal, and energetic, the perfect companion for those long walks or cozy nights in. We do same day adoptions after a personal interview. We have a contract that requires Veterinary care and proper treatment. Our cats must be indoors and not declawed, most dogs require a fenced yard. Our cats and kittens are adopted already spayed/neutered. Our dogs and puppies are adopted already S/N.

We accept cash and credit/debit cards for our adoption fees.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are available for adoption at 1700 Palestine Road in Picayune, Tuesday through Saturday 10 to 4. We are also at PetSmart in Slidell with our dogs most Saturdays, our cats are on display there during all store hours 7 days a week.
