My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pretty Mulberry was a pregnant stray found in Castle Hayne, NC. When she came to us, she was heavily pregnant. Once safe in foster care, she had 4 kittens about a week later, then took in 2 orphans. She was such a good mama! She is sweet as can be and we suspect this may have been her first litter, but we know it's her last! She is very young and in great health. She is fine with dogs and we suspect she would do great with respectful children, as she has a very gentle nature. She appears to have angel wings, so we are not surprised!

Mulberry has some minor allergies, but does require a limited ingredient food choice. We have allergy screened her and will provide her rusults along with a list of foods she can eat.

All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Please fill in our application via this link: http://www.felinematchmakers.org

We only adopt kittens and young cats out within a one hour radius of Wilmington, NC to those over 21 years old. Occasionally we make exceptions for adult cats, but we are not a transport company.

IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE GUIDELINES, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED.

More about this rescue

Faith McNitt started Feline Matchmakers in January of 2020. We are a small organization that focuses on owner surrenders. The larger organizations focus on shelter pulls, so we feel this is the most needed service in Wilmington, NC. We also work TNR cases in small numbers. We are looking for fosters to build our organization. All fosters work on a charity basis, as we do not yet have the funding to pay for anything other than medical expenses. If interested in joining us to save cats from being euthenized or put in shelters, please contact us.
