Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Otto 🐾
A nice man in the country was feeding Otto and a couple of other stray dogs for several months. He tried to catch the dogs but they were afraid and elusive. One day he came outside to find Otto sitting alone in a chair defeated. 😔 The other dogs were nowhere to be found. They probably met a terrible fate.
Otto allowed the man to bathe him, feed him, and love on him. 🩵 Then Otto found his way into the Dixie Girl Dog Rescue system. He has been happily living in a foster home for a couple of weeks.
Otto is believed to be two to three years old. He is a stocky little muscle man at 20 pounds. He might be a Jack Russell Terrier mix. Now that Otto has no fleas or ticks and he is getting quality food, his skin, fur, and nails are almost back to normal. Otto has the cutest personality. He doesn't run, he hops. Sometimes he gets excited and flips around in circles. When he gets really excited he twists, twirls, and bucks like a foal. He loves to play with dogs his size or larger. Otto isn’t leash trained and needs a fenced yard to enjoy his outdoor time. ❤️
If you adopt Otto, you will truly be rescuing a dog in need. He needs to continue to be loved, cherished, and treated with kindness. Then he will thrive and be your best friend forever. 💙
