I adopted Kittums from an elderly neighbor @ 18 months ago, who could not continue to care for her. She was gradually introduced into my cat family of Penny (female, calico @ 15yrs) & Kani (female, black/white shorthair @ 3). Kittums is female, spayed, declawed front, litter proficient, now 5 1/2 yrs old. She is playful, curious, petite with a flat face & big eyes, & tried to gain friendship with my other cats. Unfortunately my 2 cats never truly accepted Kittums into their environment…even though there is plenty of space to play, sleep, eat, use 3 litter boxes for all of them. Behavioral issues have resulted in peeing outside the box (absolutely NOT by Kittums) with carpet & padding having to be removed. The damage is creating chaos & unnecessary spending for me. Kittums deserves a loving family to give her lots of attention & she will gladly give it back!
