My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Enchanting, Playful, Cuddly

Don’t get spooked by Spooky Cute’s name. Nothing spooky about this marmalade sunshine! As to the cute part, absolutely...and, there’s more! He has such a joyful spirit - happily playing, running and climbing without a care in the world, and gladly sharing his love with his humans!

When it’s playtime, Spooky loves chasing motion toys the most and he also has so much fun playing a round of “Capture the laser!” with you! He has a great time wrestling with his foster brother, always done politely and respectfully without using his claws.

While Spooky likes to stay on-the-go, he always finds time to cuddle with his people. He loves to be lavished with attention from adults and kiddos.

In addition to snuggling, one of Spooky’s favorite pastimes is bird watching. He sits by his foster’s window mesmerized by birds at the feeder during the day. At night he watches nocturnal critters which includes owls that swoop in for a landing in a tree just outside the window - you can hear Spooky chattering away in excitement every time!

Spooky’s animated conversations aren’t just with owls, he loves talking to his people and with other cats too. He even chats with his toys! We’re pretty sure he is telling them how much he loves them…he’s sweet like that.

Spooky likes spending time with other playful kitties. He is reserved when he initially meets new feline friends, so he needs a slow introduction to give him a chance to warm up to them. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys being part of the pack so that he always has a buddy for roughhousing and cuddling.

Spooky would thrive in a loving home where he has daily play sessions and gets regular doses of cuddles. It also wouldn’t hurt if you consistently tell him how cute he is, even though he likely already knows! Contact us to meet the most un-spooky cat you’ll ever love, Spooky Cute!

Spooky Cute has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
