Arthur- Blue point purebred ragdoll with solid face, 5-6 months old (March-April 2023) is the least outgoing of the group. He waits back and allows the others to explore first. When he first came to the rescue, he hid and was very unsure what had happened in his life, but within days he had opened up and is coming out of his shell by the day. He is now welcoming pets and has started purring. I have no doubt he will continue opening up and be a wonderful companion. He is a mellow boy who is very observant with his big blue eyes. Arthur is easily startled by commotion.
Arthur would do best in a quiet home without small children or dogs. Arthur is still a kitten. As a social kitten, he must have another young cat as a companion in the home.
Arthur is fully vetted and ready to go home. He is being fostered in Austin, TX.
Adoption fee- $450
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
