Meet Wilma! Wilma was a stray living on the streets that came into the rescue through TNR. She’s been with the foster for 8 months and has shown significant improvement. Wilma who used to be a shy, quiet, and expert hider is now the first one to greet you at the door. She’s learned how to use her voice to tell you what she wants. Whether it’s pets and lovins or food and water she’ll let you know. Wilma loves her foster brother Louie, a 1 year old pit bull. Wilma likes to touch noses, walk underneath, and reach out to Louie. Any time he’s ever been too far into her personal bubble she’ll reach out and tap him on the nose. No claws, just a gentle tap to let him know too far. Wilma would do best in a home without young children or hyper dogs. Wilma desires to eat, sleep, snuggle, and play. She’s a fan of the typical laser and feather, but she also loves her spinning balls toy. Wilma doesn’t like to be held or picked up, but she definitely wants to sit with you and be loved on.
