This sweet boy has had a rough life, he is approx 4 years old and 43 lbs..

we are not sure of his breed mix, but he may have some Beagle/lab in him..

he is a really nice dog,

when we rescued him from the local shelter, he had been found dragging his back leg into a local business and they called animal control to pick him up, his left back leg was broken in several places and he had heart worms. we treated his heartworms according to the AHS recommendations but our Orthopedic Surgeon was unable to repair his leg as it was an old injury and had already set into place, so the only option was to amputate ..

he hops around really well and is a lot happier now that he does not have to drag his leg around, he is house and crate trained and will run into his crate to sleep and will hang out in a doggie bed with the other dogs during the day..he is a bit of a Loner and doesn't like to play with the other dogs, but does well with them, he would rather hang out with a chew stick... so he would be a great companion for someone as an only dog or with a sweet laid back buddy..
