Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jake!
Hello, new friends. My name is Jake! Kind of like the guy from State Farm, but I don't wear kahki's. Nope, I wear scars from my past, and as a golden oldie, I'm much older than him, too. But I'm much smaller, only weighing 20 pounds, and much cuter than him, if I do say so myself. I was found in deplorable condition, skinny and maggot covered open sores. Now I'm much healthier, and my body has healed. I get along splendidly with other pups and even cats! Kiddos can be friends with me if they are kind and respectful, older children, too. I do my pottying outside, as a good boy does. I just want to make my humans happy!
I'm an adventurous little man, with a zest for life, who enjoys his naps. You know, short bursts of energy, then always find a soft place to curl up in. Sniffies in the yard, going on walks, sunbathing are some of my favorites. I'm a really smart boy and pick up on new routines quickly. I only have a few teeth, but I'm still very food motivated! I don't hear to well anymore, but I see just fine. Foster mom says I'm the closest thing to an angel in dog form that there is, and I'd love to show you just what an easy little guy I am! Are you ready to take me home with you?
