Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dina is such a sweet girl! She enjoys playing with other dogs with a similar energy level to hers and prefers that they are well-mannered and not too pushy. Dina loves people and is all about getting lots of cuddles from her humans. Her soft white fur will make you want to pet her for hours. With her "Life of the Party" personality, Dina will fill your heart and keep you entertained each and every day.
Dina is about one year old and weighs 61 pounds.
The adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting Dina, please stop by the shelter during open hours. If you currently have a dog at home, we recommend bringing them to also meet Dina. helpingstrays.org

We welcome you to stop by our facility located at 4221 Hanover Road in Columbia, IL.
We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.
Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.
Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
