My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Kenickie's mom is a Poodle/American Eskimo Dog Mix, we don't know who dad was, but suspect it was a Cattle Dog.

Kenickie was the runt of the litter, but has held his own.

Kenickie can be a little bit on the shy side, but loves to play and wrestle with his siblings. Kenickie pays gentle with the smaller dogs in his current foster home.  He does let you know when he needs or wants something. He loves to cuddle.and uses the dog door.

Kenickie is  looking for a foster home that can  continue working with his separation anxiety, shyness,  car rides and socialization skills.Since 2 of his siblings are still with him, they need to be separated.

Kenickie's  adoption fee is $175.00  includes: neuter, and microchip.  Kenickie has also received Bordetella, Rabies and has finished his series of 4 DHPP.

ATTENTION:  If you are viewing this on another site (ie: Petfinder, Adopt A Pet, etc) you must fill out our adoption application.  Copy/paste the link at the bottom of page  click Forms/Applications, no need to sign in.

More about this rescue

Maggie was our first foster dog and our inspiration. Maggie did not come to our house alone, she gave birth to 11 puppies. We adopted Maggie several months later. That has been over two years now, and we continued to foster puppies and moms. So it is in her honor that we have named this rescue after her.
Miss Maggie May's Rescue is an all volunteer rescue group based in Tucson, AZ. Founded on September 4, 2012. We provide medical care, spay/neuter and vaccinations for dogs that have found themselves deemed not adoptable in our local shelter. It could be moms to be, families, puppies, sick or injured dogs. We also take in strays and owner surrenders. We are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and giving these dogs a safe place to get well before finding them a loving home. All our dogs are fostered in private volunteer homes.
If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, volunteering or adopting please contact us at missmaggiemay@cox.net
We are always looking for donations of food, crates, puppy pens (exercise yards) and monetary donations for our medical fund.
