My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Picasso is a victim of how cruel some people can be. She was found out in the country on someone's property bulging with a belly full of babies. A kind person took her in and that night she had her babies. What a lucky little lady she was. She had three beautiful, heathy babies on June 28 and she has been a wonderful mommy.

She is the sweetest cat ever and she just loves the attention she receives. She would let you love her all day long. She is very mellow and not a crazy kitty at all although still playful. She is really just a chilled out girl. She's done with the nursing thing and she really wants to move on to her own loving home now. She wants a person to love and to love her back, she is very loving with her human. No doubt she would like to go to her furever, loving home with one of her babies but it isn't a deal breaker.

She has a very soft short coat and she is named Picasso because she is a beautiful work of art. Look at her darling face, it is kind of split in half like a Picasso painting. This precious momma deserves to be loved for the rest of her life and considering what she has been through it's amazing that she still trusts people and has so much affection for them.

Picasso is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Picasso please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Ellen at garyreason@gmail.com or 916-743-8324. If you are unable to reach Ellen please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
