My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“MISSY” (Bonded w/Waluigi)
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Missy! Missy is a stunning black and orange tortie with the most unique markings and classic “tortie sass and sweetness”! She is a very independent lady. She often entertains herself and can be found playing with her favorite rattle toys.

However, this kitty still loves attention! She will purr as she cuddles you and gives you kisses in the morning and night. She is happiest to be snuggled up as close as possible. She loves catnip, playing with her toys and especially enjoys spending time with her best friend Waluigi. She’s a very well-behaved kitten and rarely gets into trouble. She is as close to perfect as can be!

** Missy MUST be adopted with her best friend Waluigi. They need an indoor-only home with plenty of space to run around, cat trees to climb and scratch on and fun toys to play with. They need a family who will give them lots of love, attention and snuggle time. **

Missy does fantastic with other cats. She would do best in a home without dogs. She does well with children and she is litter box trained.

Waluigi and Missy are ready to find their furrever family!

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
