My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾PENNY🐾 (Bonded w/Nash)
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Hey there, I'm Penny, the purrfect little feline looking for my forever home! 🏡 I come with a bonus: my bestie Nash, a cool cat just like me. 😺 We're inseparable buddies, doing everything together - from exploring every nook and cranny of the house to lounging in the sunbeam. 🌞

I'm a social butterfly, always ready to charm my way into your heart with my adorable meows and playful antics. 🦋 Toys? Oh, I can't get enough of them! Whether it's chasing a feather wand or batting around a ball, count me in! 🎉

But wait, there's more! I'm not just a kitty who loves toys; I'm also a cuddle enthusiast! 😻 Your lap? It's my favorite spot in the world. And if you need a little cheering up, I'm here with my soothing purrs and gentle headbutts. 💕

** I MUST be adopted with my best friend Nash. I need an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run and play, cat trees to scratch and climb and toys to keep me entertained. I need a family who will give me lots of love, playtime and attention. **

I do great with other cats after proper introductions. I do well with small, cat-friendly dogs, after proper introductions. I do well with respectful, gentle children and I am litter box trained.

So, if you're looking for a cuddly, playful, and loving companion (or two 😉), look no further than Nash and Penny! We're ready to fill your home with joy and laughter. Adopt us today, and let the adventures begin! 🐾❤️

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
