My name is Rice!

Hi, I’m Rice—aka Rice-aroni, aka Spicy Ricey (don’t let the name fool you, I’m more sweet than spicy once you get to know me). At first glance, I know I might look like a big, tough guy—but deep down, I’m a total softy with a heart of gold.

Here’s the deal: I’m not the kind of dog who wants strangers running up and petting me right away. I like to take my time getting to know people. But once you’re in my circle? I’m your ride-or-die. Loyal, loving, goofy, and affectionate—I’m all in for my people.

Some of my favorite things? Water. I live for a good pool day—splashing, sunbathing, maybe a little rope toy action (which, by the way, I love even more than dinner). You’ll usually find me chilling on the deck, soaking up the sun or riding shotgun on a car ride to our next adventure.

I’m a social guy when it comes to other dogs—total play group superstar here. But cats? Yeah, not really my thing. And kids? I prefer the older ones. The tiny, fast-moving ones make me a little too excited.

And hey—bonus points? I’m fully potty trained. No accidents here, thank you very much.

I do great out and about, especially on patios, but I’ll need someone who’s confident and consistent to keep reinforcing my training. I thrive with clear direction and someone who “gets” me.
