My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Home - Dogue De Bordeaux

Please meet Rupert!

Rupert is a 2 year old male being fostered in CT.  He is crate trained and housebroken.  He is a young, active, healthy, strong boy that loves to play and get some exercise every day.   His favorite things are squeaky toys along with treats that his foster home is using for training.  He has very good house manners. He is learning some basic obedience such as sit, stay and leash walking.  He gets along with other med to large dogs and has been playing in the foster home with the resident dogs.  No small dogs or cats. He is a very strong boy physically and mentally.  He needs someone that has prior working dog experience and would be able to continue with his basic training and leash walking.  A secure fenced yard is needed so he car run around without always being on leash.  He is very sweet boy and we know he will continue to flourish with the right family.  Any children in the home must be over the age of 13 years.

All rescues in the care of  Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro chipped before being placed into their adoptive home. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue does NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information email us.
