SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Kobe is such a nice fellow! Believed to be less than two years old, he came to us when his owners moved and were unable to take him. We have had such a good time getting to know this precious soul. He was very shy with us initially, but quickly grew to charm all of us! Kobe has been a quiet, happy and easy to handle dog who appears to well like the other dogs in rescue. He is in good health, already neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We believe he would make an excellent addition to most homes. We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with Kobe. A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give Kobe room to run and play and a home without young children is required. Learn more about how to adopt Kobe on our website.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
