My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mocha is

-potty trained

-Crate trained (may bark for a couple mins -until you leave)

-SUPER Smart

-really goofy and funny

-EXTREMELY sweet with Humans(older children and up) seems to be fine with younger kids if supervised but he's active so might knock them over

-loves to do training , will train for kibble even

-loves to run and play for hours

-Loves to be chased with his toys

-would do fine with a dog savvy Cat, he barks excitedly at them but will ignore them afterwards

-does fine out of the crate when left alone, not destructive USUALLY but he might go after pillows if he doesn't have toys available because he thinks they're toys for him

He is loyal, sweet, loving, playful, smart, curious, silly, and funny and LOVES being little spoon and sleeping like a human on a pillow.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
