My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Are you seeking a feline companion who will fill your home with warmth and affection, snuggling with you day and night? Look no further than Pomona!

Pomona is a sweet and loving cat with a remarkable talent for forming strong attachments to those she meets. She thrives on human interaction and eagerly seeks out laps to nestle into, insisting on being held and cuddled. If you're in search of a true cuddle bug, Pomona is the perfect match for you!

One of Pomona's favorite pastimes is falling asleep in our volunteer's laps and arms. This heartwarming experience speaks volumes about her gentle and affectionate nature. She craves attention and affection and is prepared to reciprocate it with all the love in her heart.

Pomona's playful side is equally charming. She adores worm toys, and her enthusiasm for batting them around is infectious. You'll often find her carrying little pompom foil balls in her mouth, adding a touch of whimsy to your daily life.

If you enjoy vertical adventures, Pomona is your ideal partner. She's a climbing enthusiast who fully utilizes her cat tree and the cat climbing shelves in her foster home. Heights don't faze her, and she'll climb with fearless abandon, adding excitement and daring to your living space.

Pomona and her sister Jora share an extremely close bond and must be adopted together. Separating them would be heartbreaking for both. They complement each other perfectly and bring out the best in one another.

Pomona is the type of cat who will capture your heart with her loving personality and playful antics. She's ready to be the loyal companion you've been seeking, offering endless cuddles and unforgettable moments. Don't miss the opportunity to bring this cuddle bug into your life. Come meet Pomona and her sister Jora today and experience the joy of having two feline friends who fill your heart with love and your home with happiness. Adopting Pomona and Jora means gaining furry friends for life!

If you are interested in meeting and adopting Jora and her sister Pomona, please fill out an adoption application here today

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to find the purrfect forever homes for our cats & kittens, so we match them with their potential families based on personalities, lifestyle, etc.

Adoption process:

Complete an Adoption Application.
Once you submit an application, a volunteer will review your application, check your references, and contact you to conduct a phone interview with you about the animal and answer any questions that you may have.
If approved, we will then set up a meet and greet with the entire family during open adoption hours to spend time with the cat you’re interested in. (all persons living full-time in the household must be present during the adoption process).
If it's a match, we will then set up a date and time for you to take your furrever family member home.

**WTRF does not do same day adoptions to allow our adoption counselors time to call your landlord and vet references.

**WTRF does not do single kitten adoptions (unless you have a kitten of similar age already in the home, no seniors) or break up bonded pairs.

**WTRF only does local adoptions.

Adoption Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Have a valid form of id with current address
Provide landlord information and approval and a copy of the executed lease or show proof of ownership
Have proof of vaccines & spay/neuter for any other pets in the home
