My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am looking for an active family with a securely fenced yard. I will do best with some active children and another dog that would appreciate another active companion dog. My litter was abandoned on the streets with one of our daddies and our mom. So, we are a mixed breed dog (American Staffie, American Pitbull, Pug and Retriever). Our dad and mom are 23 lbs. As adults we could be 25 to 40 lbs. I will enjoy daily walks/hikes and dog obedience training. I love to play with dogs my size, play with toys, lounge on dog beds and go for car rides.

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
