My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pharaoh is a handsome 3-year-old, 57-pound tiger-striped brindle with a heart of gold and a love for all things cozy. He’s a gentle, well-mannered boy who thrives in a calm, predictable home where he can feel safe and understood. While he can be a little shy in new situations, once he trusts you, he’s as loyal and loving as they come!

Pharaoh is one smart cookie—he knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, go potty, outside, come, lay down, leave it, share, crate, off, go inside, no, and stop it. He’s both crate-trained and house-trained and even uses a doggie door like a pro. He’s also a big fan of toys—though fair warning, he plays hard and doesn’t hold back!

When it comes to making friends, Pharaoh does best with slow and proper introductions, but once he gets to know another dog, he’s all in! In fact, he loves his dog friends so much that he sometimes curls up and sleeps right on top of them. He’s been thriving in a foster home with new dogs coming and going, showing just how adaptable he can be.

Pharaoh would do best in a home without cats and away from the hustle and bustle of city life—he’s a country boy at heart who prefers wide open spaces and a relaxed environment. He’d also be happiest in a home with older kids or teens who can respect his space and let him settle in at his own pace.

And let’s talk about one of his cutest quirks—Pharaoh loves a good pair of pajamas. Whether he’s snuggling up for the night or just lounging around, he’s happiest when he’s cozy and stylish.

Pharaoh is looking for a family that will appreciate his smarts, give him the patience he deserves, and, of course, keep his pajama collection well-stocked. If you’re looking for a well-trained, affectionate, and slightly goofy companion, Pharaoh might just be your perfect match!
