Sugarplum is full of personality, play, purrs, and love, and insists on greeting you every moment with a sweet happy face to show you her affection. She is the loves to assist you in everything you do and make sure you know she loves you. If you aren't a fan of happy greetings, lap warming, shoulder surfing, leg hugs, and rubs as well as sweet chirps, she wouldn't be the kitty for you. Her favorite toys include just about anything she can make into a toy and has a tendency to prefer the less expensive toys so paper towel rolls, paper bags, boxes, and zip ties are a must! Sugarplum came into rescue with a traumatic injury and lost her tail but her cute little puff just gives her that something extra special!
Despite her traumatic past, Sugarplum has truly blossomed in foster care and is now fully healthy will make the perfect combination of lap cat, and playmate, making you feel like the luckiest person alive!
Sugarplum is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
