I’m a big, active, energetic young guy who is looking for a home that can play with me and love me unconditionally! I wear a harness just fine and might be an excellent candidate for learning to be an adventure cat. While I need to be an indoor cat I would probably absolutely love a sturdy catio!
At first, I was having a hard time making friends at the lounge because I come on very strong but with time I’ve made some good friends here! My closest friends are Sassy and Noah, and I’m learning to get along with almost everyone. It took about 4 months for me to really get close with my buddies here. I especially love my friend Noah and want to be adopted with him.
I do best when cats are younger than me and act like they want to play with me. I don’t get along with cats who are older or act like they don’t like me – then I try to chase them and not in a playful way. I haven’t made friends with any female cats so far. I might do ok with the right puppy or dog but the volunteers here aren’t 100% sure on that. (I lived with an elderly dog in my first home.) I am super affectionate and love having human attention.
NOTE: Dotty will need an understanding adopter. He may not be good around young children and definitely needs an active and conscientious home. Leave a window or screen door open and he’ll get through the screen if he thinks he needs to be out with you. He will be upset if he sees other cats prowling around his home outside. He can jump straight up 6 feet! He’s strong, athletic, and just wants to be where the action is. He’s also one of the most loving cats of people that we have at the lounge. He adores attention and is a total lap cat. In the right home, he is going to be an amazing companion!!!
We would strongly prefer that he be adopted together with Noah based on the friendship we’ve watched them develop over the last 5-6 months.
