My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet magnificent Marconi! He is absolutely amazing, very well mannered. Marconi is neutered and up-to-date on all of his vaccines. Marconi loves people and loves children of all ages. Marconi is a bit possessive of his person and tends to turn around and take it out on other four-legged friends. He should find a family as an only dog or possibly with a female dog of the same size. Currently Marconi has been fostered with 8 female dogs and one small Chihuahua with no issues thus far as he has not picked his human. If you'd like to meet Marconi, please contact the rescue!

More about this rescue

Here at Arf-Anage Dog Rescue, our motto is "No Mom Left Behind". We specialize in moms and pups from local shelters as well as the Navajo reservation. When fosters are available, we also help with puppies that are owner-surrendered, "accidental" litters, or the last of a litter that someone just "couldn't get rid of".

Once our Mama dogs are done raising their pups, they are given time to recover then spayed, rehabbed, and made ready for forever families.

Puppies are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We orient them into a foster-home environment and begin potty training and socialization. We find them great forever homes and in case it doesn't work out, we take the dogs back and find them another loving home. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 5 days after the adoption.

In some situations, we also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter services for owned pets.
