My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelly (is guessed to be) about two and a half now.
Nelly DOES NOT like DOGS (we have 3 VERY docile/cat loving Golden Retrievers)
Nelly was a teenage mother, she was a very good mama, very protective but allowed us to
help her and her kittens.

Nelly takes a while to warm up to you. She LOVES to play and enjoys the interaction with people and toys. She talks A LOT, she will chat back to you all day long. She likes to be pet, but

has a bit of a cattitude when she has had enough, she has learned to be gentle and doesn't dig in with claws. She prefers females over males when given the choice. She loves kids and respects them with her cattitude more than adults. She would thrive in a home that respects her and allows her to warm up slowly. I would not recommend that she be outside but she does enjoy catching the bugs in the house and a cat patio would suit her nicely. She prefers hiding down low/under things and doesn't climb much.
Nelly needs a home that's pretty quiet and unders, it will take her some time to accept her new home and humans.
Cost of adoption includes Spay, Vaccines, Rabies, Microchipping and Deworming Discount price $50.00

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

each kitten picture on our website has a button to fill out an application to adopt

2.

Meet the Pet

We like to get the potential mom/dad together with kitten to see if it's a fit

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

The application should be approved at this point and baby and potential parents are good with each other then it's time to sign the adoption

4.

Home Check

home check to make sure it's a safe environment, pay fee, baby is now in it's forever home

Additional adoption info

sometimes we do what's called "foster to adopt". baby is not 3lbs yet that is required in AZ for spay/neuter. so baby is placed in home to grow to 3 lbs and then we kit-nap for a day for spay/neuter and return home that night.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

we meet and greet by appointments. we are in a rural area so we go to Casa Grande Petsmart to do our meet n greets.

More about this rescue

We are a neonatal orphan kitten rescue. most of our babies are bottle fed, then appropriately graduated to kitten food, socialized, made healthy and adopted out.
