Meet Sarah, a beautiful 4-year-old German Shepherd mix who has an incredible story. Rescued as a stray in Ukraine, Sarah made her way to Big Dog Ranch in 2022 to begin a new life filled with safety, love, and hope. Now, she’s ready to find her forever family—the one who will help her continue her journey from survivor to beloved companion. Sarah has a wonderful moderate energy level and enjoys a nice balance of activity and relaxation. She walks nicely on a leash, is housetrained, knows her basic commands, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s the kind of girl who appreciates gentle companionship and a calm environment where she can feel secure. While Sarah can be shy and timid at first, she has a heart full of love just waiting to shine through. With a little patience, kindness, and time, she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle buddy. Once she trusts you, her love is truly unconditional. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will reward your love a hundred times over, Sarah may be the perfect match!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
