MEET ZEUS #16!!

Zeus is a loving, big boy who sometimes thinks he is a lap pet. All he wants is to be around his people and get snuggles. He is amazing with kids, but he unfortunately needs a home without other dogs.

Zeus' current family has raised him since he was a few months old. He grew up with another dog in the home since then. However, in the last year or two, Zeus has been aggressive toward the other dog. Many strategies has been utilized to find the source of the issue, but there has been no solution to the problem besides keeping the two dogs separated.

Zeus is house trained, leash trained and smart. He likes to go for car rides, swim and play. He is an amazing dog who deserves to get all the love. Are you ready to love this big snuggle-bug? Meet Zeus!

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

More about this rescue

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
