My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mitt, the gentle 5-year-old sweetheart with a heart of gold and a shy disposition that belies his affectionate nature. While he may start off a bit reserved, once Mitt feels safe and secure, he blossoms into the ultimate love bug, eager to snuggle up and watch movies or chill while you work from home!

This charming feline appreciates the tranquility of a calm home environment, where he can relax and unwind at his own pace. However, don't be fooled by his shy demeanor-Mitt has a playful side too! He delights in showcasing his playful spirit and zest for life. He loves a good wand toy, chases scrunchy toys and loves cat nip!

Despite being front declawed, Mitt has undergone thorough medical evaluations, including a paw evaluation with x-rays to ensure his comfort and well-being. Additionally, he's had a dental and bloodwork done too!

Mitt's gentle nature extends beyond his interactions with humans-he's also great with cat-savvy dogs, provided they undergo a proper slow introduction to ensure a harmonious relationship. With patience and understanding, Mitt is sure to become the best cat boss in the house!

With his sweet disposition, playful spirit, and unwavering loyalty, Mitt is ready to find his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished for the wonderful companion that he is. Get ready to open your heart to this special boy and experience the joy of cuddles, companionship, and unconditional love that Mitt has to offer.

Our goal is to minimize the euthanasia of high-risk pets in Utah. Three actions we focus on to help us achieve this goal are as follows.

Reducing the number of unwanted pets through spay and neuter programs.

Keeping pets in homes by providing education and resources.

Rescuing and adopting out pets from shelter partners.
