Meet Bubbles, a 1.5 year old, 48 pound pup who was found as a stray. He has turned out to be such a good boy! He loves human companionship. He is dog friendly and can be matched with a young, friendly dog who wants a playmate!

Bubbles is all about attention and affection. He's your loyal shadow, following you wherever you go and responding quickly to recall. He is crate trained. He's a fan of plush toys, which he usually treats with care rather than destruction. Additionally, he enjoys kongs and frozen treats, making him the ideal companion for some snack-sharing.

He loves interacting with you and he responds so well to games like tug and fetch which are teaching him good puppy manners! He's a lover of walks, taking his time to savor every scent and explore the surroundings. Sniff games with treats provide mental stimulation, keeping his sharp mind engaged. Bubbles appears to be house-trained and has demonstrated excellent behavior, showing no inclination for destruction of furniture or belongings.

When it comes to interactions, Bubbles is incredibly friendly and accepting of both people and animals. He would do best in a home with children over 12. He's not much of a barker, typically only doing so when caught off guard. While there are no cats in his current environment, he has encountered them in the neighborhood without much interest. As for wildlife, Bubbles couldn't be bothered.

Additional adoption info

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. We suggest a $200 donation that helps offset some of our expenses such as feeding, boarding, training, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and miscellaneous veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.
