Gigi is a great little girl!! Smart, willing to learn and treat motivated. She is loving, but not a lap dog, per say. She loves to jump up in the morning after being let out of the kennel and give a hug/get hugs and then she's fairly good for the day!! Occasionally she'll come give/ ask for another or a pet in the evening when lounging in the living room. She plays great with her siblings and foster dogs. But she also tends to go off and play or find a toy to chew on out in the yard or inside. She is found more often than not sleeping with another of the pups in the house. She learned potty training in about 2 - 3 weeks. Not any accidents, BUT foster mom doesn't give a lot of opportunities. We get up and go out to potty right out of our kennel, when we wake from a nap or if we've played a lot inside. She seems to be connecting "potty" to the outdoors, but I would still work on that. Foster mom gives treats still when she kennels and when she goes potty (she does still come after potty and expects it!! a bit spoiled)!! She learned to sit within about 2 days, so again very smart. She does like to play in the yard, but would also like to be a walked/hike dog. Some leash training will still need to happen. She's a fairly laid back little girl. She'll come up and hang in the office with her foster mom during the day. Gigi would do well with another dog or on her own as the only dog in a moderately to very active household.
