My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update on Drew

Drew was pulled from the Duplin County shelter on her last day is now enjoying life to the hilt! She loves being outside and basking in the sun. Every day brings new joy to her! She is about 13 weeks old, 18 pounds and so much fun in all her puppyhood glory!

The dog scanner lists her as a plott hound mixes but whatever her blend, she is a very sweet puppies who love each other and other dogs, too!
She loves to cuddle with humans and thrive on attention. She is learning commands and has already mastered the stairs. Best of all, she is now "almost" housebroken.

She has such great potential and has proven to be very smart.

If you are interested in fostering either Drew, please respond to this message or email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com. Our rescue will provide a dog crate, dog food, leash, collar and any other items they may need during foster care.

Can you please, please help us save this sweet baby?
We really need fosters and/or adopters!

More about this rescue

Second Chance Habitat:
We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned animals in harms' way find humane, life affirming alternatives to "euthanasia"; we save healthy, loving, adoptable dogs whose days are numbered in stressful, crowded high kill shelters in the surrounding area; we care for feral and unadoptable cats in our one of a kind, cage free, safe-haven sanctuary in Chesapeake VA.
