My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE: Adoption pending for Megan!

Hello, hello! My name is Megan and I am one of Queenie’s adorable pups that needs to find a forever home. Five of my siblings recently met their new families. My brother, William, and I are the two beagle puppies that remain. Our mom was pregnant when she showed up on a horse farm with our ‘dad’, King. She gave birth to us on July 21, 2023. We were all transported to Penny Angels a short time later.

I am 3 months old and weigh just over 6.1 lbs. I was spayed and microchipped on Oct 7 and have received 2 sets of distemper vaccinations. I will need to receive 1-2 more distemper shots as recommended by your vet. I will also need a rabies vaccination when I am old enough.

I will need help with house-training in my new home; using a crate is one way to house-train me. A crate is also a safe place for me to relax when you are not able to watch me. At my age, I will need to potty approx. every 2 hours, but that time will increase as I get older and as you work with me. Don’t leave me outside by myself and only take me outside for short periods of time if the weather is cold or rainy. If you decide to use pee-pads inside, you will have to teach me how to use them the correct way.

I should be supervised at all times when I am not crated so that I don’t get into any trouble. Most puppies have a curious nature, so please be patient with me as you teach me right from wrong, (in a firm but gentle way). Safe puppy toys will keep me occupied but I sure do hope that you will want to spend lots of extra snuggle time with me. I got along well with my siblings and would be fine with other dogs. I have spent my days and nights with my siblings so it might take a little time for me to adjust if I am the only dog in your home. Are you ready to share your life with a beagle puppy? Adopting a puppy is a lifetime commitment, so please adopt me ONLY IF you have adequate time to spend with me every day AND you are willing to make a lifetime commitment to my care!

If you are interested in adopting puppy Megan, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. Her adoption fee is $400, cash or check. The application is available at www.pennyangelsbeaglerescue.com. If your application is approved, you will be contacted by email or phone and then will complete the adoption process at PetSmart in Mays Landing, NJ on Saturday between 11-2 pm. If you have any questions, contact beagler534@comcast.net or emnase@aol.com, or call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476. Thank you!
