Bruce is searching high and low to find his forever home! He is not even 3 years old yet.
My name is Bruce, and I'm on a mission to find my forever home! I may still be young, but I've had quite a journey already, with multiple changes and relocations. I absolutely adore kids, but sometimes my excitement can get the better of me, and I might accidentally knock them over. I'm a strong and smart fella, always eager to learn new things, especially if there are treats or toys involved! Having a fenced yard and someone who understands my breed is important for me. While I can get along with some dogs, I've learned that I'm happiest as the only pet in the household.
Just so you know, I'm all set with my vet stuff, and I've had my fair share of adventures. Truck rides are my absolute favorite, and I can spend hours playing with toys. The Oaks Dog Ranch is like my second home! Oh, and I'm a big fan of napping too, can't forget about that. I might look tough with my 70 pounds of muscle, but deep down, I'm just a big softie. Just a reminder, I do best as the only pet in the house. If you think you can be my perfect match, you can apply for adoption for me at bigloverescue.org and they will forward it to my foster/rescuer. Thank you for considering me!
Rescue Wagon Training Academy has donated a full training package for local adopters to help set him up for success in his new home. Please share him. We know his family is out there. They just haven't met yet
Bruce could really use some help. He needs a new home due to his foster home going through some major changes. He can’t stay there any longer. Please. His life is in jeopardy and he needs help now.

Additional adoption info
We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue
The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
