Jeffrey - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 4/25/2023. Jeffrey is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative. Jeffrey is a SH White with Orange and Orange on his nose! He is a very handsome guy! He came to LAS in June - one of 4 beautiful kittens and their Mom - Jillie. All were rescued by a very kind person from the side of a high speed State Rural Route road, who stopped her car and they all came to her...She put them in her car and to LAS they came. They never would have survived where they were. All were hungry and very tired from their ordeal... Clearly and sadly, they had all been dumped there. All were very tame and loving. Jillie's kittens are raised and now up for adoption as is their Mom - Jillie. Jeffrey is very social and sweet and loves to be held and to play!! He will need time to adjust to a home from shelter life and proper introductions to new home and family and other pets. If you would like to meet Jeffrey, or any other of our adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com

More about this rescue
Love A Stray is an all volunteer, no-kill, animal rescue organization for cats and dogs serving primarily Lorain and Cuyahoga counties in Ohio. Our mission is four-fold:
1. To decrease the pet overpopulation by employing aggressive low-cost spay/neuter programs which includes not only adoptable animals but also spay/neuter assistance programs for families who otherwise would not be able to sterilize their pet. We also alter feral cats through trap/neuter/release (TNR) programs.
2. To rescue homeless animals and, when necessary, provide medical treatment including emergency veterinary care.
3. To nurture rescue animals through innovative behavior rehabilitation, when applicable, and to place them from foster families into permanent homes.
4. To educate the public on the importance of being an advocate for animals emphasizing humane treatment and sterilization.
