My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear gentle reader - I'm Isaac. I'm told I have the most beautiful green eyes, I am a gentleman, a romantic and that I am the most eligible bachelor this season! I'm one of the nicest boys you will ever meet! I love everyone and I'm always happy. I lost my longterm foster home, and really miss sleeping in bed with my person and really want a forever home - my favorite would be one with another cat, but it can just be you and me, if you're home a lot and can give me lots of love and attention!

I've always been a purr machine. My mellow nature has made me a true lover of relaxation and cozy naps. In a home you'll often find me curled up in a sunbeam, basking in its warmth as I purr.

I'm a loving and affectionate boy, always ready to shower my humans with cuddles and head-butts. I crave attention and return the love with gentle reminders that I'm here to be their faithful companion.

I am positive for FIV but it's not a big deal at all, and I am fine to be around FIV negative cats with no problem at all! It just means my immune system needs a little extra support by keeping me safely indoors at all time, feeding me a healthy wet food-heavy diet, and a dental cleaning about every 2 or 3 years - that's it!

So I'm waiting patiently, hoping for a forever home where I can share my love and warmth with someone and also a sweet cat friend. I'm full of life, love, and a deep desire to be part of my own family.

So, if you're looking for a mellow, loving, and affectionate furry friend I hope you'll give me a chance. Together, we will create a beautiful chapter in our lives, filled with purrs, love, and the promise of endless cuddles. Please come meet me, before someone else does! Now that I'm back at the facility from my foster home, I don't think I'll be here long before someone takes me home!

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
