My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Princess Robin, and I'm a delicate soul with a heart full of curiosity and love. I may be a bit shy at first, but once you earn my trust, I promise to shower you with the purest affection. My journey has been one of quiet observation and gentle moments, but I'm ready to bloom with the right companion by my side.

I share an unbreakable bond with my sister, Buttercup. We've been through it all together, and she brings out the best in me. When you adopt me, you'll be adopting a dynamic duo.

I have a penchant for finding cozy hiding spots where I can watch the world go by. It might take me a little while to venture out and explore, but with patience and a gentle touch, you'll see my true colors shine. Toys and treats will pique my interest, and I'm known to be quite the graceful pouncer when I'm in my element.

I dream of a calm and understanding home - a sanctuary where I can learn to trust and flourish at my own pace. If you're willing to give me the time I need to feel safe and secure, I promise that my transformation into a confident and loving companion will warm your heart.

My ideal home would be one where both Buttercup and I can stay together. Our sisterly bond is unbreakable, and we find comfort in each other's presence. We'll bring twice the joy and companionship to your life.

So, are you the patient and caring adopter I've been waiting for? Can you offer a serene haven where I can slowly but surely come out of my shell? If so, I'm ready to embark on this journey of love and trust with you. Let's create a beautiful chapter in our lives together.

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
