Meet the oh so cute, Petula! You are about to fall madly in love! Petula is a very sweet kitten who is looking for her special forever home! Petula has a lot of personality to go with her determination. She has no idea that she is any different from any other kitty. She has a big healthy appetite, a lot of fun energy, and is a very independent kitten. When Petula first arrived in our care, she was paralyzed from the waist down and not able to potty on her own and needed to expressed. But Petula is now able to potty on her own and just needs a cute diaper! She needs her diaper changed throughout the day to help keep her clean. Just like a baby. Since we put Petula in diapers, she has been having a ball exploring the house. She is very fast and has been zooming around from room to room like any other kitten would! She has very strong front legs and is a fast mover! Petula would love nothing more than to find her special person as she is a very special girl with lots of love to give!
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Petula's diaper is changed 3-4 times a day, before mealtimes. If any urine or feces is on her fur, it is washed off with water and soap. She likes to lay down on your lap while you put on her new diaper, as it helps her feel more secure.

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.
We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue
Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:
-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.
Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
