MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs

These two siblings are scared but do come out of their shells They were rescued from a rural shelter in AL where they hid at the back of their kennel and cowered. We know with love and patience; this dynamic duo will thrive. Cocoa (eye will need to be removed or vetting to get her the care she needs for it) and Casper – two scared 6-8 month pups.

They need a FOSTER ASAP – Someone who understands scared pups, secured, fenced yard and patience. They were just rescued from Russell County-Phenix City Animal Shelter the shelter is full and they are euthanizing dogs for space, but we were able to help a few but we need funds and a foster for these two pups. They are non-reactive to both dogs and cats. Ideally placing them in a home with a friendly, well-adjusted dog to show them how to be a dog would be fantastic!!! They have started blossoming in the temp foster they are in but approaching and wanting pets and kisses. They have a long way to go but will thrive in the right environment.

Cocoa and Casper are UTD on shots, neutered/spayed, hw negative and on heartworm and flea prevention. Their adoption fee is $250 each – $500 total if they stay together.Maxx and Me | Cocoa and Casper Foster & Adopter needed ASAP!

Casper & Cocoa are UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Adoption Donation is $500 for both pups $250 each.

If your application is approved you will be contacted to set up a meet & greet. We must have an approved application before meet & greet!

Meet the Pet

We set up a meet and greet. We are *FOSTER BASED* and do not have a facility. We set up a meet/greet with you and the foster.

Due to the volume of emails we receive we do our best to respond however we can not respond to all inquiries. If your application is approved we will contact you.

Once your application is approved which involves a vet check, personal references, home checks, phone/email exchange with one of our volunteers we then will set up a meet/greet with the rescue pet if available. We do not set up any meet/greets without an approved application. Please understand we sometimes have multiple applications received for the same rescue dog. We will place our rescue dogs in the home that is the best fit for the dog.

More about this rescue

Maxx & Me Pet Rescue was founded in 2014 by Lea in memory of her beloved rescue golden retriever Maxx who she lost from histiocytic sarcoma at the age of 3.5 years.
