My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Leo, a handsome 2-year-old boy with a beautiful orange coat and amber-colored eyes. I was once a wanderer of uncertain streets in St. Paul. Life as a stray has molded me into a cautious spirit, but beneath my fears lies a longing for kindness. As the warmth of trust has begun to bloom, staff and volunteers have witnessed a transformation into a loving and affectionate kitty who loves to receive pets! It's unknown how I would do with other animals or small children, but I am certain that I would make the most wonderful companion for a special someone. Could that be you?

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
