Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let me introduce myself--I'm Kennedy, a domestic short-haired cat with dilute calico markings, estimated at about three years of ago. No surprise that I'm a female--we calicos are almost always girls! When I turned up in a neighborhood and appeared to be without a home, a compassionate individual made sure I got to Animal Ark and out of harm's way. Now I'm getting lots of good food, attention and affection from the staff and volunteers, and I'm hoping to find a home where I can relax and enjoy life. Staff is not sure how I would be with other cats, and my history with dogs is unknown. I'd be pleased to make your acquaintance if you think I might be a good fit for your home.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
