Have you ever heard the old saying, “God Save the Queen”? Well, that’s exactly what we did. Sky Sanctuary was contacted by an emergency vet who had just received new born kittens and a critical mother cat, whom lovingly named “The Queen”. The Queen had began delivering her kittens on the streets and experienced a complication in labor leaving her life at risk + her unborn baby entrapped in her body. The emergency doctor explained they might be able to save her IF Sanctuary agreed to help… and so we did. The surgery was a success and “The Royal Family” is now THRIVING. As she recovered, we really saw her personality shine! She is just a baby herself— and at under a year old, she is the best mom + such a lover. The Queen absolutely lives for affection and attention. The second you walk into her suite at the sanctuary, she rubs up against you and is purring at your feet! She’s truly a special cat who deserves to be treated like royalty in her future forever home! One future family is going to be very very lucky!
