My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Violet was found by a civilian after she was hit by a car and brought to Kane County Animal Control. She had several open wounds, gashes, cracked teeth and her eyes struggled to open. KCAC did an amazing job providing her with needed medical care. We pulled her to give her some additional medical support and hopefully some TLC! We really hoped we could find her a foster home, so she wouldn't have to spend her time healing in a loud, over stimulating shelter. As luck would have it, a kind person stepped up to foster her, so she could have a cozy place to rest and recoup!

Despite her recent rough patch, this cutie is SUPER loving and is ready to give you all her affection! She's a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix. She LOVES snuggles, her people, car rides, looking for squirrels, walks, and toys! Right now, men make her quite nervous, they're a bit scary! We don't have a history of her living with dogs, but our adoption team could help set you up for success on how to do a meet and greet if you have a dog at home! Ready to make Violet's Christmas wish come true and be her new, loving family?! Just email our adoption team at info@ahconnects (please provide your name and phone number), or call 847-697-2880 x: 0 to set up a time to meet her, or to get more information!
