Meet Tinka, a charming 40-pound Catahoula and Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love. Tinka is not only intelligent but also incredibly sweet. His well-trained demeanor is a testament to his eagerness to please.
Tinka's love for other dogs is boundless; he's a playful companion who brings out the best in his four-legged friends. With a gentle introduction, he can even get along famously with cats, showing his adaptable nature.

Tinka was with the rescue as a puppy (see cute puppy pic) and was returned after found on the streets of SA :( But he is an amazing boy, had some special obedience training with his previous family and now he can be YOUR new family member!!!

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
