If you are looking for a handsome, loving older shih tzu mix you have found one! I am neutered, microchipped, heart-worm negative, and vaccinated! My foster mom has other small dogs and I prefer to be with just a female of my size or by myself. Especially since I don't like to share my food or have another dog near me when I eat. I'm looking for a laid back home. My ideal home would be one without kids as they are a bit too much for me to deal with. Cats make me a little too excited as well, so a home without those would be best. I'm always excited to get attention and love by the humans caring for me! As an older gentleman I bring a more calm and relaxed energy to a home, but I still love to have time to play by running around chasing toys! I'm crate and harness trained. I like to decorate my crate with lots of toys! My foster mom says I'm a toy hoarder! CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership.
