My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hazel came from a bad situation in Michigan to a home in Minnesota. She was rescued from the home in Minnesota before they could take her out in the country and let her go to fend for herself. Do to her rough start in life, Hazel needs a home that is committed to helping her succeed in life. She is working on potty training now because she was never trained before. She is a little unsure in some situations but she is a great girl who loves attention and her toys. Her ears aren't sure what they want to do either. Sometimes they stand up, sometimes they flop together. They are super cute.
Hazel is not yet altered but there will be an alter agreement with her new owners. She can not be used for breeding.

Because we are foster based, we ask for you to set up an appointment with us to see a particular animal. If you are interested in becoming a foster for us, contact us :)

More about this rescue

We started our rescue because there was not one in our area. We wanted to save dogs from kill shelters. More and more places are trying to go no kill, but there are so many animals out there desperate for new homes.
