My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a super sweet, happy, senior gal. She is estimated to be 10-12 yrs old and weighs ~11 lbs.
Bella is potty trained.
She is fine with similar size/energy level dogs in her foster home. Nervous around bigger, energetic dogs.
She has good leash manners and gets excited when she sees her harness.
Bella loves people and wants to be with her person all the time. She has a little separation anxiety and can be vocal when left alone. Bella will do best in a home where someone is with her most of the time.
She has limited hearing and will need a fenced yard to be safe.
Bella enjoys doing zoomies and chasing squirrels in the backyard.
She also likes couch cuddles and watching TV.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
