Sweet little Alley Cat is very shy, but she will allow us to pet her - as long as we don't move too fast! We give her all the attention she will tolerate. Alley Cat likes to snuggle with some of our other shy kitties and would do best in a home with a kitty companion.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
