Rooster says, I’m confused. Why can’t I find a home too? I’m handsome, sweet, dog friendly, neutered and HW negative. I love everyone and I am a very good boy. I want a home that will love me forever. I’m waiting on my HERO.

Rooster came into Dallas Animal Services as a stray with a horrific eye injury, his eyeball was out of its socket and hanging down onto his face and had been that way for weeks. In spite of the pain, he won everyone's heart with his sweetness and spirit.

He is a friendly sweet boy who loves to play ball, snuggle with his toys in his fluffy bed, and cuddle with his foster mom.
Rooster is an adorable, extremely loving, happy-go-lucky very affectionate boy.
He is smart, knows SIT and does not jump up.
Rooster has an adorable personality and doesn't let the loss of his eye slow him down.
He is crate and house trained and has wonderful house manners.
Rooster walks well on a leash and likes to go for walks.
He is great with other dogs, loves to play and is good with older kids.

He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro chipped.
His eye surgery was successful, and he is healed.
