My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Rose, the sweetest blossom you'll ever meet. This lovely lady is a Black Labrador Retriever/pittie mix, with a heart of gold and a stunning black and white coat. Her medium-sized frame and endearing nature make her the perfect addition to any family.

Rose is not your average dog - she's a bona fide good girl. With her boundless energy and an unyielding zest for life, she's always up for an adventure. Whether it's long walks through the park, energetic games of fetch, or simply lounging by your side, Rose is there to brighten your days.

This young adult pup is a quick learner. She's mastered her basic commands and is eager to please, so training will be a breeze. With her friendly and gentle disposition, she'll make friends with everyone she meets, both human and canine. Sweet Rose was surrendered by her adopter after three years in his home :( She wants to be back in a wonderful family and is ready to be adopted!!

SO, if you are ready to bring some blooming joy into your life... Rose is the pet you've been looking for, a true flower of companionship. Make her a part of your family, and you'll see your days transform into a beautiful garden of happiness.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
